Costco Wholesale is a global company with a chain of large retail warehouses.

It sells a variety of goods at wholesale prices, including groceries, electronics, clothing, appliances, books, bedding, jewelry, fitness supplies, and home improvement. Some stores offer extra services, such as optometrists, a gas station, or tires.

Shopping at these warehouses is exclusive to those with a Costco membership. For a small annual fee, Costco membership entitles shoppers to lower prices and bulk purchases.

Costco is a U.S. company, but there are now stores in other countries such as Australia, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

Shoppers can choose a gold star, a business, or an executive membership. Each tier has different perks and rewards.
